Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 525 to 984 sfm, feeds between 0.005 and 0.014 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.138 in. These parameters enable effective general cutting operations with a balanced approach to speed and material removal rates. It is designed primarily for ISO P20-P25 steel groups, making it well suited for medium to high carbon steels and alloy steels. The positive rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape favor finishing and semi-finishing cuts under continuous cutting conditions, but it is not recommended for heavy interrupted cuts or roughing.
