Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 492 to 3281 sfm, feeds ranging from 0.002 to 0.010 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.098 in. It is designed exclusively for continuous cutting operations. The insert is optimized for machining ISO group N (Non-ferrous metal) materials. Its positive rake and round shape make it ideal for finishing and semi-finishing applications where edge strength and low cutting forces are critical. Interrupted cutting is not recommended due to the insert’s sharp edge and fragility.
