Applications

Cutting speeds range from 427 to 820 sfm, feeds from 0.012 to 0.024 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.315 in. This insert is optimized for medium to low-speed roughing with general to interrupted cutting conditions. It is designed primarily for ISO P25-P35 steel and secondarily for M25-M35 stainless steel. The negative rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape make it well suited for robust interrupted cuts and medium to rough turning operations, but it is not recommended for precision finishing or profiling.
