Features

    Fine pitch adjusting screw controls the die width, enabling precise threading depth and shoulder clearance.

    Chamfer geometry: both faces chamfered; one side provides a 2 to 3 thread chamfer for threading, the other side provides a 1 to 1-1/2 thread chamfer for threading close to a shoulder.

    Beveled slot design allows adjustment when used in a machine holder; the adjusting screw can be removed and adjustment made by the holder screws.

    HSS construction offers wear resistance for longer tool life during repeated external threading operations.
