This CNMG turning insert supports cutting speeds from 295 to 492 sfm, feeds ranging from 0.009 to 0.024 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. It is designed for heavy interrupted cutting and roughing operations, handling robust machining conditions with high material removal rates. It is optimized for ISO M25 to M35 stainless steel grades, with primary suitability for medium to rough turning and facing. The negative rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape provide excellent edge strength and durability in interrupted cuts, but this insert is not recommended for precision finishing or profiling applications.
