Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 492 to 3281 sfm, feeds from 0.001 to 0.020 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. It is designed for continuous cutting operations only. The insert is optimized for ISO group N materials, which include non-ferrous metals. Its positive rake and chipbreaker design make it ideal for stable finishing cuts, providing excellent surface finish and low cutting forces. Interrupted cutting is not supported due to the insert’s delicate edge strength and positive rake geometry.
