The diamond coating excels in abrasive non-ferrous materials but is not well matched with steel, stainless steel, and cast iron; therefore, it should not be used on such metals. The 4-flute design offers a balance between chip evacuation and surface finish quality, and the absence of a corner radius reduces chipping risk during high-precision finishing.
