Precision tasks that require moderate reach and rigidity are well served by the YG1 07569TE solid carbide end mill, measuring 13/64″ in diameter with a 5/8″ length of cut. Featuring four flutes and a 30° helix angle, this tool is coated with TiAlN Extreme to deliver a well-rounded balance of chip evacuation and cutting edge durability, ideal for general milling in free-machining steels and compatible materials.
Ideal for slotting and contouring, the tools heat-resistant coating enhances lifespan under moderate cutting speeds. Its sharp cutting edges come from the lack of a corner radius, which means extra care is needed to prevent chipping during interrupted cuts.
Using this end mill on Non-Ferrous (ISO N) materials is discouraged due to coating unsuitability. The tool performs best within recommended parameters for free-machining steel and is less suited for heavy interrupted cuts or materials outside its designed range.
