Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 115 to 656 sfm, feeds from 0.004 to 0.012 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.118 in. These parameters enable efficient continuous to general cutting operations. The positive rake and 1/64″ nose radius favor semi-finishing to medium machining roles. It is optimized for ISO material groups S05-S15 (HRSA/Titanium) primarily, with secondary suitability for M10-M20 (Stainless steel) and H05-H10 (Hardened steel). This insert is best suited for continuous cutting conditions and is not recommended for heavy interrupted cuts or roughing operations.
