Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 115 to 656 sfm, feeds between 0.004 and 0.012 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.118 in. It is optimized for light finishing cuts with a very fine 0.002″ nose radius, favoring continuous to general cutting conditions. Ideal for machining ISO groups S05-S15 (HRSA/Titanium) primarily and M10-M20 (Stainless steel) secondarily, this insert excels in finishing operations. Its positive rake and fine radius limit its use to continuous cuts, avoiding interrupted cutting or rough turning to prevent chipping and ensure surface quality.
