Applications

Cutting speeds range from 115 to 656 sfm, feeds from 0.004 to 0.012 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.118 in. These parameters support continuous to general cutting operations with a maximum depth of cut of 0.118 in. This insert is designed primarily for ISO groups S05-S15 (HRSA/Titanium) and secondarily for M10-M20 (Stainless steel) and H05-H10 (Hardened steel). Its positive rake geometry and 0″ nose radius make it suitable for finishing and semi-finishing but not for interrupted cutting or heavy roughing.
