Applications

This CNMG432-HM NC3225 insert supports cutting speeds from 410 to 771 sfm, feeds between 0.004 and 0.020 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. It is designed for general cutting with a maximum depth of cut of 0.197 in. The insert is optimized for ISO material groups P20-P25, primarily steel. Its negative rake and robust design make it well suited for medium to rough turning and facing operations, including interrupted cuts, on steel. This insert is not recommended for precision finishing or profiling operations.
