Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 492 to 3281 sfm, feeds from 0.001 to 0.008 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.118 in. It is designed for continuous cutting operations with a maximum depth of cut of 0.118 in. Optimized for ISO N materials (non-ferrous metals), this insert excels in finishing and light semi-finishing applications. Its positive rake geometry and small 0.008″ nose radius provide low cutting forces ideal for thin-wall workpieces and low-rigidity setups. Interrupted cutting is not recommended due to the positive rake and continuous cutting application limit.
