It is optimized for non-ferrous metals (ISO group N) and excels in finishing and semi-finishing tasks. The positive rake and round shape provide low cutting forces and strong edge durability, but interrupted cutting is not recommended due to the fragile sharp edge. Avoid shoulder, step, or profile turning with this insert.
