Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 492 to 3281 sfm, feeds from 0.001 to 0.008 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.157 in. It is optimized for continuous cutting operations within these parameters. The insert is designed primarily for ISO material group N, non-ferrous metals, providing excellent performance in these materials. Its positive rake geometry and small 0.008″ nose radius make it ideal for finishing and light semi-finishing cuts. Interrupted cutting is not recommended due to the insert’s positive rake and chipbreaker design.
