Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 492 to 3281 sfm, feeds from 0.001 to 0.008 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.118 in. It is designed for continuous cutting operations only, with no suitability for interrupted cuts. The application envelope is focused on finishing and light semi-finishing cuts. It is intended primarily for ISO group N materials, specifically non-ferrous metals. Its positive rake chipbreaker and 35° diamond shape make it ideal for stable, continuous finishing of aluminum, copper alloys, and other non-ferrous materials, providing excellent surface finish and profiling clearance.
