Applications

Cutting speeds range from 427 to 820 sfm, feeds from 0.009 to 0.024 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. These parameters support medium to low-speed roughing and general to interrupted cutting operations. This insert is designed primarily for ISO P25-P35 steels and secondarily for M25-M35 stainless steels. Its negative rake chipbreaker and robust 80° diamond shape make it well-suited for roughing and interrupted cuts, but it is not intended for precision finishing or profiling tasks.
